You can choose between 1000, 3000 and 5000 NOK, the most common amounts sent abroad from Norway.
All data are collected monthly on the same day.
Internet - fulfill the transaction online.
In person - visit the agent office to initiate the transaction.
You can pay for the transaction with cash, bank account or credit/debit card.
Cash - the receiver will collect the funds at the agent office.
Credit card - money withdrawn will appear as credit on the credit card account.
Debit card - money withdrawn will appear as credit on the bank account.
Bank account - funds will be sent to the receivers bank account.
Prepaid card - a debit card that is issued and sent to the receiver by the relevant service provider. The sender can add funds
to the card whenever needed.
Cheque - issued in relevant foreign currency and sent by mail. Receiver must cash it at a bank, but does not need to have
a bank account.
Home delivery - the service provider will deliver the money to the recipients home.

Exchange rate cost = amount sent × (interbank exchange rate - service provider’s exchange rate)/ (interbank exchange rate)
The total costs of sending an amount to a certain country. Total costs is the sum of the exchange rate cost and transfer fee.
The total cost as a percentage of the amount sent.
The price at which major banks buy and sell currency.
The percentage difference between the interbank exchange rate and the service provider's exchange rate.
